Welcome to SWFL’s Eco-friendly Summer Science Camp, hosted inside the Florida MicroGreens Urban Farm and Demo studio. Little Leaves Science Camp is a week long adventure combining education and project-based learning with entertainment designed especially for kids aged 7-14. Designed with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) based projects, kids work on daily activities that foster problem solving skills, creativity, and collaboration. Taught by the founders from Florida MicroGreens, campers will plant their own microgreen herbs and veggies, discover water culture and chemistry, create hydroponic experiments, Learn about environmental stewardship, as well as plan and help serve a culminating farm-to-table meal just for parents at the end of the weeks camp! At the final farm-to-table dinner, parents enjoy the amazing tastes and flavors of microgreens grown, nurtured, and harvested for the dinner by each camper as well as enjoying presentations from each camper on their activities and projects from the week.

Cost: $225 per camper ($175 for week long classes + $50 Lab and Dinner Fee*)

Requirements: registration required;
minimum attendance of 3 per class needed; max 5 students per class.
