Nick Shemenski was born on August 29th, 1975 in Warwick, RI. He attended LaSalle Academy in Providence, RI where he was a varsity letterman for football, basketball and track.
Nick has been involved in the computer/technology field for over 20 years. He recently retired from FedEx after spending 15 years as a Senior Customer Technology Consultant. Nick partnered with Account Executives to recommend and implement unique strategies for more complete automated solutions through analyzing customer’s logistic needs. He designed and implemented integrated automation solutions to enhance the customer’s supply chain process. Responsible for all aspects of a project from consultation to production, including; planning, consulting, scheduling, delegating, implementing, follow-up and maintenance.
He was responsible for all of FedEx’s customer integrated automation in Rhode Island. He also provided senior level support to coworkers throughout New England. Nick received multiple Bravo Zulu awards for outstanding performance.
He was later appointed as a high-level expert Senior Technology Solutions Consultant by the VP of IT for a seven member team which was responsible for managing all of FedEx’s integration projects. This team was responsible for providing expert project management and technical support for Tier 1 clients domestically and internationally. He was selected from over 300 Customer Solutions Consultants for strong analytical, technological and interpersonal skills, based on solid project management success and programming expertise in VB, SQL, XML and SOAP methodology.
Nick was involved for many years with youth sports as a head/assistant coach for basketball, baseball and soccer. He was a volunteer for both Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. He was involved in many aspects with the Boy Scouts including teaching merit badge classes. Nick was the Committee Chairman for his local Cub Scout Pack, where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects for the pack, including fundraising, membership sign-up, coordinating events and more. Nick is a certified Florida Firefighter and EMT.
Currently he owns an internet e-commerce and consulting firm in Southwest Florida where he lives with his two teenage sons. He enjoys running, cycling and swimming and from time to time participates in triathlons. Nick is a partner at Florida Microgreens, a hydroponic vertical farm start-up, where he handles technical aspects, along with merchandising and daily processes.
